A never-ending collection of hearts in a million ways. As this collection grows and evolves, I realize how they represent the hearts of individuals.
I never set out to create a series of hearts. I’m not a fan of Hearts, I need mine to pump blood, but that is where I draw the line, they don’t speak to me. (I know..WHAT).
The thing is after I started making custom hearts, I came to realize how much the shape resonates with so many others, and just like people, my heart collection can be singular and different every time. We are unique and different from one another and our hearts are shaped by our lived life experiences, so why not celebrate diversity and uniqueness in a universal shape such as a heart?
Be you, my heart-shaped friend. Beautiful, bold, simple, elegant, tiny and introspective, quiet, crinkled, bumpy, smooth, and shiny, you choose.
Each heart is different from the previous one or the heart yet to be created. Just like the dings, dents, and bruises that adorn our human hearts, they all have little cutouts, gold accents, and original floral stamped blooms. The blooms are scattered around the surface and fall off the sides of the pendants in varying ways.
Fabricated one at a time, each heart is designed with the thoughts of individual uniqueness, just like the wearer.

“Protector” Heart - Sterling silver :: This heart is all about lived experiences.
For this heart, I used a technique called reticulation. This process heats the metal to an almost molten state and with the flame, the liquidy silver is moved around the surface. It creates a textured, bumpy surface, that resembles a lunar surface
There are 3 - 14kt gold balls along the right side of the heart.

The pendant measures 1” wide, 1.25” from top to bottom.
